Hotel Blaues Haus

The room was very nice. Clean and spacious. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful…went out of their way to be kind and help me.

The only unfortunate thing was that the curtains don’t block the morning sun well…very bright very early

Was pleasantly surprised by the hotel for our short term stay. The only hiccup would be a bit complicated check-in (ie you have to call the hotel and wait for someone to open it for you; but we managed nevertheless within 30 minutes) and limited parking space (albeit if you can walk for 2-3 minutes - you’ll find parking spaces no problem). The breakfast was nice, we had extremely comfortable pillows (5* hotels in Dubai sometimes give you much worse), the room warmed up well with the battery and the shower pressure was great. Basically everything worked, the atmosphere was like at home. The personnel were also very welcoming.

Minor hiccups during check-in and limited parking; it that’s just minor things

No staff at check in or check out. I saw an office person on the morning of my check out. I told her that I was going to get breakfast and return to pay for my room. She said OK but when I got back the office was locked and no one was there. I wanted to pay in euro but my room was automatically charged to my card It was advertised as having A restaurant for breakfast, but nothing was open. The dining room was dark and no one was there. I was looking to have dinner there the night before. I saw a menu outside but again nothing was open for an American visiting for the first time I was not clear About dining options.
