A real pleasure to stay here and can’t recommend it enough. Staff were great, friendly and attentive without being overbearing. We ate twice in the pub and both times the food was excellent. The room was clean and modern reflecting the standard evident throughout the whole operation. We’d not been away for a while so this was a pleasant change and it was well worth the wait. It’s in a pleasant Suffolk village which borders on the idyllic so if you’re looking to chill out, this is the place.

A perfect two night stay! All staff were friendly and helpful - excellent service in the restaurant( most accomodating to allergy needs) Food delicious. Popular restaurant so very busy and noisy Sunday lunch time - minimalist decor does little to muffle the noise! Ideal location for visiting Constable Country. Situated in small village overlooking open countryside.

Faultless. Lovely large room overlooking the Suffolk countryside and very quiet. Courtyard sitting area fantastic. Evening dinner great atmosphere and really good tasty food. Would highly recommend

"Beautiful location and good food"

The hotel has been beautifully refurbished - there were some issues with service being very slow and at checkin the member of staff was unsure where the rooms were located. None of it was particularly problematic and it is a nice hotel in a beautiful location with excellent food.
