The pool is great
Like staying with someone who cares about you, personalized, separate homes—surprising. Not hotel like.
Very comfortable stay in one of the two-bedroom suites. My son and I also enjoyed the pool in the evening. We had to leave too early to try it, but breakfast also looked great. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Blacksburg.
This was an amazing place to stop on my road trip with two small dogs. It was really lovely being in a bed and breakfast rather than a chain hotel, and the in-town location provided a great walking neighborhood for my pups. Breakfast in the morning was delicious.
Beautiful, quiet and conveniently located
No one is onsite. There are 3 “houses” and your access code allows you entry into all the houses. Arrived and looked around. The entire sitting area in the back which was a common guest area was taken over by another person and their large family- dirty dishes on table and cell phones and clothing in all chairs. Meanwhile the pool area, another common guest area, was taken over by the same group. Called host and he said he could call the other group and ask them to move their belongings from areas they were not in (not sure about dirty dishes on the tables). Told him I was not comfortable with that given the lack of security for where my family had paid to stay because we know nothing about the other guests. Told him I was not checking in due to his unsafe security system allowing all guests access into the different “houses” even though each house has a security lock pad on the door and is for a separate booking. Requested refund verbally and in writing. One week later and he has still not replied to my verbal or written request. Now I have to go through Expedia due to his lack of response.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely amazing stay! We had such a fantastic time at Blacksburg Bed & Breakfast. The entire place feels so authentic and welcoming, with beautiful touches everywhere you look. The pool was deliciously refreshing and perfect for relaxing after a long day. The beds were extremely comfortable – we slept so well every night. Everything was very well equipped, from the rooms to the kitchen and common areas. You can really feel how much thought and care goes into this place. Highly recommended – we would love to come back!
The B&B is on a quiet street very close to downtown AND to beautiful pickle ball courts. Couldn’t be better situated. It’s in a few houses, each with kitchens, living rooms, etc. Breakfast was extra. Room was clean and comfortable.
New owner is very attentive via text. I pre-ordered breakfast every morning for an additional fee. Location is an easy walk to VT, Farmers Market and Main Street restaurants. Quiet neighborhood. Outside patio is spacious and sheltered. Had a very comfortable room in the Main House with kcup coffee maker, Raku TV, and small fridge. Felt very much at home during my stay.
Very clean. Big room, double sink bathroom. Great attention to detail, such as multiport USB outlet. Ample storage. End table and lamp on each side of the double bed.
