We liked the location was great for getting to and from town

When we arrived the house smelt like past guests had been smoking in it, kitchen cupboards had old guest food left and the dishes and cutlery were dirty in cupboards and no hot water for showers in morning

There was mold extremely present throughout the home. A lot of maintenance needed throughout the home, and there was an odd odor immediately upon entrance. Upon submitting my arrival time I was instructed to call the number provided. And when doing so I got no answer for a bit of time and had to wait in the driveway.

Spacious and accessible relatively cheap price considering others

One and only gripe was stench from en suite bathroom, was bad!but everything else was perfect apart from struggling to turn TV over!!

A simple check-in procedure: you just call the owner. Very quiet location, yet still only a few minutes from downtown Inverness.

When entering the house, there were already leaves on the floor, and the entrance area smelled of stale cigarette smoke. In general, the apartment could have been cleaner. I only found out through the comments that the water boiler was switched off and had to be turned on manually — information I would have appreciated receiving from the owner by phone during check-in.

La casa era amplia y comoda

La limpieza era muy mala, microondas sucio, horno sucio, utensilios de cocina sucios, freezer sucio, ducha y sábanas con cabellos de huéspedes anteriores y con manchas. El control no funcionaba, llamamos y nos contestaron que al dia siguiente lo revisarian lo cual no nos sirvió ya que nos íbamos. Nos dijeron usáramos un botón manual detrás del tv que era muy dificultoso su utilización.

Location.Lack of facilities...modern kitchen with frying pan for example. Toilets locks generally don't work.

The drive

Not sure where to start but here we go. Chairs and sofa have seen better days and were extremely uncomfortable as were the beds. Locks on all toilet/bathroom doors were broken. Mould in both the main bathroom and ensuite. Bedding was all dirty, fortunately we all had our own pillows and sleeping bags so we used those. Lots of hairs all over the beds and pillow. What looked like bloodstains on the carpet. Skid marks still in the toilet. Microwave had dried food stuck in it. Bins still had rubbish in. Hairdryer was all sticky and covered in dust. As was most of the house. Carpets were filthy with stains and bits of all sorts. Oven was full of grease. Fridge smelt funny. As did the whole house when we went in. Walls all had marks over them. The scourer looked like it had been there for years. We bought food to cook at the accommodation but decided to walk into town instead as we didn't want to get food poisoning. All that and the worst part and the reason it should be condemned the main bathroom shower leaked water through the ceiling and on to the microwave and toaster. And it wasn't a new leak as the roof was really badly stained in the kitchen and living room. Lots of cigarette butts all over the rear yard and all over the front garden/slabing. Overall the kind of place you wipe your feet on the way out. We obviously won't stay ever gain i would rather sleep on a park bench under newspapers!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE EVEN IF ITS MORE EXPENSIVE!! I took plenty more photos but i can only upload 4.
