La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Spokane Downtown

Good breakfast. Nice close location to the hospital Nice to have ground floor exit for the dog, and complimentary dog biscuits

The hotel it self is nice. My issue's are the following. 1. They gave me a handicap room which being 6'4" is hard the bathroom counter is way to low so is the mirror. 2. No place to hang a garment bag. Had hang off the shower curtain rod. 3. Upon walking in my room the floor is sticky. Even the catpet felt sticky. I went back to the desk to tell them. The female at the desk was very polite and respectful. The manager heard and came out, to explain that its the chemicals they use make it sticky. But reassured that floor was infact clean. I then asked how the lobby isn't then. He couldn't answer. Not to mention he acted and spoke like someone high on Meth or something. 4. The roomed smelled so bad. Again the manager tried to say that because the A/C hasn't been running to make smell fresh. I left for the afternoon leaving the A/C on high. Came back around 8:30 pm the room still smelled bad. Went back out and to switch rooms. I was told they were sold out for the night. I then asked some air freshener. The night clerk didn't have any but went found some. She brought it to my room. I then asked her if she could smell or was it just me. She stepped back putting her hand over her nose and said yes and she'd let house keeping know. 5. The water in the sink had hardly any water pressure. Also the shower head is a wand but its only mounted mid chest. I get it, its a handicap shower but washing your hair is difficult so is just trying to let the hot water run dow your head and back. I've stayed at several La Quinta's all over and never had such a bad room. Yes the location here is bad. But I've never been to Spokane before so not familiar with the area. But that doesn't explain the room not be cleaned properly. And if the there excuse for a sticky floor is the cleaner switch it. I've never heard that before. So believe me I wore flip flops the whole never let my bare feet hit the floor.

Nice and professional service from staff, however breakfast was pretty poor. Ham wasn’t look like fresh , scramble eggs as well. Shower was liking to the floor. Room was clean , but not enough lighting in .

Very poor breakfast , ham wasn’t fresh , scramble eggs as well. Can’t define as a good breakfast. The shower was leaking to the floor. In a room itself not enough lights and the electrical outlets couldn’t hold the charger in . Very flimsy , power adapter was failing down each time . Room itself looks nicely overall but if start to look closer poor quality. A lot of homeless people around . Had to worry about about the car .
