"Don't Recommend"

This hotel wasn’t great. It didn’t feel super clean, the room was a little small. The beds were uncomfortable, and the front desk was understaffed. I can't speak for the breakfast, but it looked typical for a Hampton Inn. We usually stay at this chain, but this hotel just didn't fit the brand. I wouldn’t stay here again.

"Great staff and excellent service"

This property has an excellent staff. The front desk managers, staff at the breakfast time, housekeepers were all excellent. Even when the property was full, the staff were very pleasant. The property itself is in good condition. It is a standard Hampton Inn. Some reviewers had complained about the lack of a physical closet. This didn’t bother me at all. I would recommend this property to anyone traveling to this area. Thank you to the staff.

"Good Location with Terrible Rooms"

The hotel is conveniently located right off the highway, close to Shenandoah University and the downtown area. The staff was very nice and the amenities…pool, gym, etc were very nice. The real issue we had with the hotel was the set up of the room. There was no closet…it was a wall with hooks on it and a curtain to pull over it. Also the bathroom was not in the little entry hall when you first walk in the room but rather on the one side of the bed and the passage was narrow. It was a terrible set up to the room and made the room very uncomfortable. The breakfast in the morning had a limited selection but sufficient to start our day. Overall it served its purpose but we would not stay here again

The stay was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean and well situated in terms of location. There however, were loud motorcycles running at all hours and the breakfast was bland. However, I would stay there again.

Overall excellent for 2 stars hotel ; my room was a little noisy from heater and college students but pets friendly and a slyly different breakfast every morning (though I didn’t eat).
