"We got a decent night's sleep and I've seen worse, but I expect much better from Hampton Inn."

The work desk was adequate. The TV was good. Shower worked well. Generally clean. Staff was generally friendly.

Vending facilities subpar with limited machine selection only and no diet sodas available with a credit card. Bed was squeaky when we sat on it. Pillow and bed both could have been firmer. The wi-fi had a significant lag, and we don't think we should have to pay extra to get acceptable wi-fi. The soap and shampoo in the bathroom were low quality. No dirty-clothes bag provided in the room. Breakfast lacked sufficient options for plant-based diets. Serving instruments for ham and other items were subject for cross-contamination for people who don't eat ham. Toaster didn't work. The microwave in the room did not heat up food adequately. Decent microwaves are inexpensive these days, so this is pretty ridiculous. While the staff was friendly, getting a defensive answer to inquiries that this hotel was being sold to another chain and a new Hampton Inn was being built across town really didn't cut it. If you are open for business, then run a decent hotel.

"Worst Hampton Inn"

This was outdated and dirty. The staff was unfriendly and dismissive. The furniture was ripped and dirty. The blind in the room was old, ripped and glued back together Rooms were very small for the price.
