Best Western Plus Chicagoland - Countryside

The location suited us because it was very near I-55 which is what we needed. There was shopping and restaurants nearby but nothing to write home about. But cool that it was also near Route 66. Check-in was smooth and the man on reception was friendly.

Property was dated. Artificial Flowers in the outdoor planters when it is summer and real would look much better. We were given a disabled room, which was no problem, but had to wonder why there were no hooks (neither low or high) for someone to hang their towel near the shower or a hook to hang clothes or a wet towel. Cleaning was a little lax as well.

Smelled bad when entering building. The rooms lock was very hard to work. The air conditioner did not cool below 70 degrees. I called the front desk and asked for someone to come look at it. They said they would send maintenance and no one came. There was ants in the room.
