Hampton Inn St. Louis - Westport

If you need or want to rest, this is not the hotel for you. The walls and windows are very poorly insulated. The noise from the outside was so loud that I thought that our window was open; it wasn’t. The interstate traffic noise is awful. We heard the people in the room next to us opening packages. You would have thought that they were in the same room. There was some wooden type wedge holding the air conditioning unit in place. It wasn’t the dirtiest hotel that I’ve stayed in, but it’s definitely not clean. The carpets are dirty and the towels are yellow. The breakfast was nearly gone at 7:30 a.m. and what was left was inedible. The biscuits were rock hard. When I called to book the hotel the rate that I was given was $283. I booked through a third party site for $207. This is a more like a Motel 6 or any other $69 night hotel. I’m surprised that Hampton hasn’t pulled their name off of it.

The breakfast was bad. Some of it was overcooked some of it wasn't cooked enough. We ended up buying our own food for breakfast so I feel like we wasted money and it wasn't a good value because of it.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Food options in the area were plentiful and the bed was comfortable.

My husband and I stayed here because I had to be at a local hospital at 5:30 a.m. for surgery. I had to shower the night before and the morning of surgery. The night before, I had to let the shower run 15 minutes before it got warm. I assumed that I was not the only one showering. At 4:30 a.m., when I was likely the only one showering, the water never got warm. We were told by the gentleman at the front desk that we were so far away that the warm water couldn't reach us. We were supposed to let it run longer. Wow! Great customer service! Perhaps that should've been shared when we booked!? Never again 🫤

The Staff was the best thing!!! The girls on Staff were wonderful!!!

Nothing really. Everything was pretty good.

nothing the toilet was stopped up the room chair had 3 dirty stains that I cover with a towel did'nt want to sit on Istay here about 6 months had no complains so I stayed here again but never again

If the toilet problem would have been handle different they could have change my room but instead they keep trying to unstop it
