Heel veel gedoe met het ontbijt. Eerst werd er gezegd dat ik maar voor twee mensen ontbijt had gereserveerd terwijl dat ik voor vier personen betaald had . Dat werd opgelost. Bij het ontbijt zelf kregen we alsnog een rekening voor onze neus van 47 dollar plus een fooi van 10 euro voor de serveerster. Toen we het gingen vragen bij de desk hoefden we de bon niet te tekenen terwijl die mevrouw er op stond dat we tekenden en ze werd ook nog kwaad op mijn kinderen die er niks mee te maken hadden.

The property was lovely and well kept for the most part. Parking was a breeze. Common areas and bathrooms are modern. The indoor and outdoor pool were a nice touch. Bed was comfortable. Huge extra special shout out and acknowledgment to Asad W. (waiter at the Parallel 40 restaurant.) He went above and beyond to serve and take care of me and my family. The food was delicious too! Kudos to the chef! Back to Asad, he deserves something special for his patience and kindness. My daughter was being a bit chatty and he entertained her conversation. The kids menu was really delicious, my children loved it and they are picky eaters. We love you Asad! Also, Reynoldo at the front desk, the process for checkin was smooth and he was attentive. Overall, nice stay for a last minute trip in the area.

We chose the hotel partially because of the pool, but it was not swimmable due to murky water. It was unsafe.

Pros: The hotel features both indoor and outdoor pools, which were decently sized. The outdoor water was relatively clean. The location was great for our purpose — visiting Princeton University. There’s also a nearby Asian market and a small Starbucks on-site. Cons: The room was on a lower floor, so there was no view. The bedding had a slight odor. It’s suitable for a one-night stay, but not much more. The refrigerator was in poor condition, and the coffee maker had residue inside. It seemed more like a hotel meant for conferences or seminars rather than family travel. At check-in, the staff member spoke unclearly, with pronunciation that was hard to understand. Their facial expression was neutral, and they didn’t leave a friendly impression. Family travel rating: 3 out of 5
