Spent 2 nights here in early Dec 2025. Marriott Bonvoy Platinum member. Reserved ‘run of the house’ room through work. Pros: -Good location. Convenient to Rt 1 businesses in the Princeton area. -Relatively safe area around the hotel for a morning run or outdoor exercise. Located in a larger office complex area. -A couple of decent restaurants nearby the hotel (Creek Inn, Ruths Chris, etc). -Adequate sized fitness center in the hotel. Had a good number of cardio machines. Smaller room with free weights. Pool was also significantly cleaner this visit. Last visit, the indoor pool looked like dirty dishwater. it was disgusting. -Heavenly bed is comfortable. Good pillows and mattress. Cons: -Hotel is in need of a refurb/refresh. The hotel feels like it was decent about 20-25 years ago. -Bathroom setup is terrible. NO room on the vanity for any personal items/toiletries. The floor of the shower/tub is like a sheet of ice - incredibly slippery. Had to grab for the shower bar handle numerous times while showering. I wonder how many guests slip/fall when showering. -Room was a 1K standard. The room had too much furniture for the room size. Remove the lounger and maybe have a small reading chair. -The TV did not work - was constantly scrambled and watching it was difficult. This hotel is ok if no other hotels are available in the area or if you’re mandated to stay here due to a meeting. Otherwise, I would not recommend staying here. The hotel is also charging room rates that are consistent with a hotel of higher caliber. The value is just not here.

Love the smell & the staff was great

Took forever to be waited on at the restaurant and the food took forever to arrive. Other than that, the hotel is amazing.

We stay at this hotel every Thanksgiving for 2–3 nights, but unfortunately this will be our last visit. The property has declined significantly - there is little attention to detail, the rooms are not properly cleaned, things are falling off the walls in the bathroom, and most concerning, the staff consistently gives the impression that they simply don’t care about their guests. As a Titanium Elite member, I don’t expect anything beyond the standard benefits (breakfast or points), but even those were ignored at check-in. The pool had no towels, and when I asked the front desk, I was told, “We will inform housekeeping to bring towels to the pool,” yet no one ever came. There’s also no coffee available anywhere until 7 a.m., and even then, it isn’t set up on time. And if you have a dog allergy, forget it! The hotel has dogs everywhere and if you request an allergy friendly room, they will claim none exist despite being able to book that room type on the app. This hotel needs a serious pick-me-up and some staff training, or it’s going to suffer greatly.

The location was perfect. The staff was so friendly and welcoming to everyone that they encountered. Our room was very clean, relaxing and had a great scent that made it seem like home. Patima in the diner is wonderful and the food was great. We had a great time and look forward to visiting again next year! Thank you Westin for making our trip so memorable.
