Casa Fresa - Castle Heights Apartment

Very clean, excellent facilities convenient location.

We liked everything - The Prosecco and biscuits were a nice welcome! We had an older relative with us who would have appreciated a non slip bath mat and hand rail for access. Noisy seagulls at night !!

A lovely place to stay, spacious and comfortable. Was a lovely touch to see a bottle of wine and chocolate biscuits for us on arrival. Plenty of coffee capsules and well appointed apartment.

We were looking forward to getting some laundry done but we couldn't get the dryer to work and the host didn't respond to us about it. Also the dishwasher wasn't working. Again tried to communicate to the host about this but no response until after we left.

The location was good value for money. City centre and harbour are both within a few minutes walk, so are some nice pubs and bars. Still the flat was very quiet. Beds were comfortable. We liked the bottle of Prosecco. It was a bit of work to get the chairs for the kitchen counter off beneath the couch but all kitchen facilities were handily placed. There were also plenty of herbs and seasons for cooking.

The wifi connection left something to be desired until Sunday noon, from there it worked quite well. Unfortunately we couldn't get the washing machine to work, the possibility to do the laundry a major reason we booked the flat. This obviously can happen but was in our case kind of inconvenient. What really was inconvenient was that there was only one key to the flat. Dundee has so much to offer that two keys for two parties would be of advantage.

We really enjoyed our stay at this modern clean apartment and the location was perfect for shopping, bars and restaurants which were all within a few minutes walk away. Would highly recommend for a city break. We would certainly book again.

We didn't have any problems at all during our stay so nothing to dislike.

The Matress and sofa have seen better days

Great property for a weekend stay. Everything you could need was included. Well stocked kitchen with complimentary tea, coffee and sweetie jar, lovely bathroom and great bedrooms. Everything was spotless. Entry system and communication with the host were easy. Absolutely amazing location, right in the heart of Dundee, literally 1 min walk from Caird Hall and Slessor Gardens. 5-10 minutes walk from bus and train stations.

Couldn't fault anything. If the windows are open, there is some street noise, but that's to be expected in the centre of a city.

Bath tub was way to high to get on and out

Spacious, nicely decorated, good facilities and location.

Could probably do with a new mattress in the main bedroom. Noisy at times with the window open, which was needed because of no air con.
