We seemed to get a deal on a last minute booking. Free parking was appreciated. Close to reasonably priced restaurants. The bathroom fan, though noisy plus window unit were able to remove the room smell after about 2 hours of being on. This hotel appears to have a good bed bug preventative program going - high quality mattress encasements, and no signs of bugs between the mattresses or boxsprings.

The incense smoke burning at the front desk was overpowering and not pleasant. (Made me cough despite wearing an N95 mask.) Very worn out carpets - the washable rubber mats were still encrusted with salt from winter, (so not cleaned in a month+), and it seems someone had thrown up in the elderly elevator with the circa 1960's weirdly carpeted and now threadbare floor. (It had just been carpet cleaned - strong odor.) Room wallpaper is haphazardly stapled in place, paint needed, gross mildew in the bathtub, malfunctioning shower diverter valve, and the rest of the decor is just worn out but not problematic. Bath towels are a "treat" for couples because they're so tiny (child sized.) Sheets were bleached to threadbare which made them appear stained in spots. Beds were super hard and not comfy. No black out curtains. No free channels on the smart TV except for Tubi. The free breakfast was cold (5 min after opening), loaf style egg product, gross coffee, OJ tasted rancid, no GF options, and signs telling guests not to take juice with them because it's too expensive. I work in hospitality, and the vibe of cheapness and those signs did more to garner a mention in a poor review than it would have cost to spare an XS cup of juice. I'm not sure if we just got a deal on one of their most decayed rooms and they're working to improve things room by room, or if they're running the place into the ground. I suspect from the VERY full parking lot vs mostly empty parking lots at the surrounding similar vintage motels that the price we got is the big draw for this place.

The worst, found cockroaches in my room , asked for a full refund and they give me some lame excuses of why they were not able. I insisted until they told me they were going to refund the second night and give me a free refund , all I needed to do was to contact Expedia and they would accepted it, and that’s what I did but to my surprise they refused the refund.

I really liked the receptionist; she was very helpful and responsive to my needs. The parking area is secure and there is a guard.There is a laundry room and daily breakfast.

The room isn't clean; there's a lot of dust under the beds, the blankets are burnt from smoke, the door is heavy and closes quickly and loudly, the bathroom isn't very clean, and the microwave and refrigerator are short-circuiting. I don't know if the problem is with the electricity or the appliances. There is no kettle or coffee machine.

Was a pretty big room, kids liked all the different spots to sleep.

The air conditioner system was dusty causing breathing issues even when the fan was on. The toilet tub has mould in it.
