Hyatt Regency Sacramento

Recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Sacramento and had a fantastic experience, particularly as a Globalist member. The staff provided excellent recognition of Globalist status, which included a generous room upgrade that made our stay even more comfortable. The upgraded room was spacious, well-appointed, and offered a great view, adding a nice touch to the overall experience. The lounge was a highlight, offering a satisfactory breakfast spread with a good variety of options to start the day. The lounge staff were attentive and kept the area clean and well-stocked. Self-parking was reasonably priced at $25 per night, which felt like a good deal for a downtown location. The parking facilities were convenient and secure, making it hassle free. The lobby bar was another standout as always. The drink selection was good, and the bartenders were friendly and engaging, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Overall, the staff throughout the hotel were exceptionally friendly and professional, from the front desk to housekeeping. Their warmth and attentiveness made the stay truly enjoyable. We’d highly recommend the Hyatt Regency Sacramento for travelers looking for a comfortable, well-located hotel with great amenities and excellent service.

We stayed on the 15th floor for three days meeting, and despite the rain, the view was absolutely beautiful. The room itself was also very comfortable and well-kept, making the stay even more enjoyable. The gym need improvement and better accessibility from the hotel.

Super clean hotel perfectly located and very nice staff. The restaurants and bar serve excellent food and the staff is very attentive. The housekeeping staff cleaned our room every day as requested. Top notch !

Great service, location, and food. Enjoyed our time in Sacramento and the staff makes you feel very welcome. Great breakfast and good drinks at the bar.

Great location

My biggest problem with this facility is that it's overpriced and they stopped doing real room service. I paid $15 for a glass of wine and it was tiny. If you're going to charge $15 a glass it should be a big glass. And my fruit plate came with tiniest serving of Greek yogurt I've ever seen. It would cost practically nothing to provide an actual small bowl of yogurt. The amount of fruit was a good value for the money. They had no pool towels stocked. And I think they actually expect you to pay to sit on a chair by the pool. Which is ridiculous. Finally, I ordered room service. What came? Food wrapped in styrofoam and plastic and served in a paper bag. Now I'm willing to pay a lot for room service. But that's bc I expect actual service. A tray and real plates and napkins. Cute tiny bottles of ketchup. This was such a let down and so environmentally unfriendly. Will not be doing Hyatt again. And I've got a lot of traveling to do with the upcoming holidays.

I stayed overnight at the Hyatt because I had a conference nearby the next day. Pros: I was planning on leaving my vehicle at the hotel while I attended a conference, and the staff helpfully provided me with the correct parking voucher so I could leave the car until much longer after I checked out. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Cons: the room was LOUD, both inside and outside. On the inside, the HVAC unit was incredibly loud everytime it turned on (like, startle me awake loud). On the outside, I kept checking to see if the sliding door was wide open because every sound from outside was so clearly heard inside. It seems like the Hyatt redid the inside of its rooms but hasn't paid any attention to the structural piece of it. Maybe I just had bad luck with my particular room but I likely wouldn't choose to stay here again.
