Rodeway Inn Magic Mountain Area

Nothing comes to mind. I thought on this one for a while.

We couldn't watch tv because the remote didn't work and then when they changed us rooms because of that, it was the same thing over there. He did NOT make a note that he changed out room so imagine our surprise when we were laying in bed in the morning and I opened my eyes to find an individual opening the door with his own card key!!!!! I thought surely thisw can't be happening and the walls are just super thin, but then we were locking eyes with each other. If I didn't put the chain bolt thing on then it would have been an even more awkward experience for all of us. It also stank really bad in both rooms. I also feel the need to include that we were supposedly upgraded, so I would LOVE to know what my nonupgraded experience would have been.

There was a smoking room a pluss

The front desk gentleman was extremely nice when I confirmed my reservation, then had to reshedule it, and at check in. The beds were comfortable, and the waffles were freshly made.

The pool would have been nice if I had gone in it. There were a lot of people and they had their music extremely loud all afternoon and early evening. The bedside lamps were missing pieces, the microwave was disgusting, the hem on the curtains was halfway pulled out and hanging, the walls were filthy, the toilet seat paint was worn down to the wood on all sides of the seat, the 2 rolls of toilet paper looked as if it had been wet and then left to dry, the tp holder was broken and hanging on the wall, no ice bucket, no hangers, no tissues in the sink dispenser. We woke to ants covering the bathroom sink, and no food was near it. We attempted to call the front desk, however the telephone was missing the cord connecting the handset to the base. I have pictures of everything to back up my complaints, this survey would only let me post 4. The rooms are old and in need of a complete gut job and remodel. The advertisement photos are very deceptive!

A lot of noise and found a few roaches in the bathroom also tv worked but remote would not do anything but turn it on and off so couldn't watch that
