Mamamia Island Villa

Nice and friendly staff. They are also offering pick-up/drop-off services from/to harbor. The room we had was pretty cozy, the sheets were clean. Pool area was well maintained and the breakfast was also very good. You can also rent scooters directly from the location or book a Nusa Penida day trip. I recommend the place for a few nights stay.

Towels didn’t seemed to be very clean as the color turned from white to grey, they were smelling good but they still had a lot of stains on them. Also we stayed for 4 nights, but they were never changed. Another thing were the noises on the roof we could hear during the night like little creatures steps (I haven’t figure it out what they were). Fortunatelly nothing entered in the room but we couldn’t sleep for a while.

The location of the hotel is quite good. Close to different restaurants and sunset points. The friendliness of the staff is amazing.

There are just two umbrellas in the pool. They could just place more along the pool would be good. The people in the reception could have been more attentive and informative to their guests. Inform about festive days, where there's no boat going to the sea, so the visitors can plan ahead with these days. I would suggest not to take the snorkeling tour with them. They offered GoPro camera during the tour and there was anything like that, on top of that, the boat driver spoke three words of English. They definitely should improve the attention during the tours.

Rooms are very clean (and only a few years old). The bed was very comfortable and large (best we have had on our travels so far). Garden is well kept, pool is clean. Staff are very helpful.

Breakfast is good, quite basic but as to be expected (same as most places we have stayed).
