Germaine Inn South Portland

I’ve only just checked in, but so far I’m happy.

My check in was fantastic.. My check out took way too long.

We very much enjoyed our stay; spurt of the moment decision to book this Inn. Thank you for a good experience!

Staff was great rooms were clean and overall hotel was a good stay for the rooms being for pet owners. It far exceeded what my family needed. I was pleasantly surprised. Gas station nearby for convenience and plenty of food places within 5 mile radius

Our water wasn’t very warm at all - told the front desk… told they’d come look at it… never did Told them again, and they wanted us to switch rooms, but check the water… water wasn’t any warmer. Spoke to front desk upon checking out again and was told someone would call me soon. Never called!!

Check in was not great, the rooms were supposed to be adjoining and they were not. Then when we went to the room they gave us one was already open and was not clean at all. They moved us and the new rooms were okay. The next day we asked them to clean the room and replenish our towels and they never did. Otherwise the beds were clean and comfortable. also common to hear dogs barking at night.

No covers on the duvet and some stains along the bottom of the bed. Terrible breakfast - everything was cold or luke warm at best. But very convenient to go into Portland for the whole day, especially if you have your own car.

The rooms were extremely outdated and dirty, the floor and bathroom especially.

Everything was great for a last minute stay. The hallway had a certain smell that wasn't that great. The staff were super helpful and very nice! Thank you!

Stayed at Germaine inn over the weekend, forgot a few personal items so attempted to get in touch via phone call. Their phone number is not in service and my multiple e-mails were not answered. The place itself was not the worst, obviously under some much needed renovations. Very disappointed with the customer service as my multiple attempts to get in touch were unsuccessful.
