Ibis Jakarta Arcadia

My stay was not pleasant. The bad thing: The room was smelly and very old. The water heater/pressure was not stable and consistence. It can suddenly turn to very cold while it was warm. The breakfast was horrible, not much choice and taste bad. The great thing: Wifi was strong and cable tv have multiple channel. Location is good because near to the big shopping mall and near to my Jakarta office.

Friendly and efficient staff and a great location made way for a pleasant 3 night stay at the Ibis Arcadia Jakarta, despite the shortcomings of an old building showing its age and in need of renovation.

Nice, pleasant hotel, sufficient facilities. Rooms require more socket outlets for charging phone, laptop tablet.

A big concern is the open air beer garden next door. Loud, at times blasting music made the stay rather unpleasant and there is no escape since all rooms face the beer garden (except the ones facing the street). Sadly, the hotel management did not give the impression trying to come to some sort of amicable agreement with the noisy neighbour.

great place near jalan jaksa and shopping and transit. very touristy area, but it is ok. use of pool at nearby hotel was very nice addition.

I had to stay in Jakarta for a night so I can take care of my visa interview in the american embassy the next day. The location is great, less than 10 minutes to the embassy. The room was small but neat. The shower was small and a bit dirty and the water pressure is awful. but it will do for a night stay. the staff was friendly.

Hotel near to Sarinah mall and Sabang road which offers food galore.

Pros: decent location in central Jarkata (check out beer garden less than a minute away + line of street food vendors not too far), super friendly staff, washroom had good water pressure despite looking a tad old, clean room Cons: wifi speed, no breakfast, slight 5mins wait upon check in for them to finish cleaning my room
