Downtown Camper by Scandic

The hotel was clean and generally pleasant, but there were several disappointing aspects to our stay. The biggest frustration was having to pay extra to use the hotel swimming pool. When staying at a hotel, I would normally expect access to basic leisure facilities to be included in the room rate rather than being charged as an additional fee. The room itself was comfortable enough, but there was no air conditioning, which made it quite warm at times. There was also very limited storage space, with no drawers or proper place to put clothes, meaning we had to live out of our suitcases throughout the stay. Overall, the hotel was clean and adequate, but the extra charges and lack of room facilities meant it didn't offer the level of value or comfort we were expecting.

Wir waren das zweite Mal hier und würden wieder kommen.

I stayed here for 3 nights, sharing a room designed for 3 adults with a couple of friends. I loved it. The hotel is located in the middle of Sweden a 10 minute walk from the old town. The downstairs space for the bar, restaurant and reception has a smart modern style. Our room on the sixth floor had plenty of space by European standards for us three, and was clean with comfortable beds. Only negative quirk was no storage at all - no wardrobe, no drawers! We booked without breakfast and then booked in on the day. It was pricy but tasty. We also took a session at The Nest, where they have a huge sauna, roof top pool and then space to relax. It was pricy but lovely. So in summary, a hotel offering a lovely stay, with a very reasonable base rate that became quite a bit more if you decided to use the facilities at all. Still really liked it.

Location was nice, close to many sights and transportation. Breakfast had many options.

It was fine, but seemed a little disjointed and not very genuine. The breakfast definitely felt chaotic at times.

Good location , clean and tidy, great breakfast especially good for GF options

The lights were difficult to working and bigger mugs for tea.
