Good location, good value for price

Most comfortable beds we have ever had at a hotel. We even took a photo of the bed and pillow brands. I already ordered the pillows for home! Location was great for the concert we were in town for.

The sheets were pilling, but still soft. The halls and bathrooms were a bit dated, but clean.

The room smelled moldy. I suspect the bathtub leaked because when you stood in the shower it got spongy, like water was under the tub. The towels were not absorbent. Someone was constantly smoking marijuana, the entire hall smelled like it. It had to be obvious to the staff. I thought it was a non-smoking hotel. It was very difficult to get the fob to work to unlock the door to get out of the pool. If there were an emergency people could not get out to get help.

NOT quality, for sure. We had room #250 There is no elevator. 2 floors Was obvious that the owner was managing the front desk, working in his office AND maintaining the breakfast room all at once. ●"Hot" water was NOT hot ●Some areas smelled of people's spices that were obviously living there. It is turning out to be a low income rental. ●Curtains hang way over air conditioner ●Air conditioner didn't work properly and would make a ticking sound ●Bathroom air vent was caked with dust ●Tub would not drain. We were standing in 3" of water while taking shower. ●Toilet had obviously not been scrubbed as there was a pink/orange ring in the bowl. ●Food smell in room ●Fridge not plugged in. Tipped to turn on and a huge puddle of water came out. It stunk. ●Paint on ceiling from wall. Could easily be touched up but isn't. ●Keys kept having to be reactivated. ●We paid $270 US, $400 CAN. It showed as a 7.5 rating. The place is very dated and needs many upgrades.

Cleanliness. The room could have been cleaner. The floors were dirty and needed to be swept and mopped.
