Comfort Inn North of Asheville

It was a pretty nice stay overall. Staff is always pleasant. We have stayed here on more than one occasion. This particular room had no bathroom hooks to place items like damp bath towels/robes, etc. I would like to see extended breakfast hours or offering non-perishable items for late risers.

Perfectly fine place to stay when in the Asheville area. Parts of the facility are aging but the rooms are nice and clean and the place is generally well maintained. The staff is lovely. The young man who checked us in, along with Michelle and Leah, all were really nice. The breakfast includes both hot and cold items. The coffee machine in the breakfast area was better than at most Comfort Inns - it even made espresso! There was a night light in the bathroom, which I always value. We used the washer and dryer on site. The dryer did not work at all - and after I tried running it 4 times I mentioned it to the front desk and they were kind enough to allow us to use the hotel’s industrial dryer so that we could have clean dry clothes when we left. No frills here but it was fine.

Hotel is very convenient to the college. It’s is very clean and hotel staff very friendly. We stayed two nights. Disadvantages are beds need new mattresses and walls are thin. Advantages morning breakfast, clean, affordable and close proximity to school. I would stay again if we visit the campus again. Would recommend the Stackhouse for dinner.

Well outdated hote. It was a nosey stay once night time arrived. You can hear evert door slammed, hear people conversation in the hallways and next room. The toilet power flush was the most annoying cause you could even hear your neighbors. The hallway light shined bright through the cracks in your door the hotel was so hot we had to turn on the a/c which was a horrible mistake. The a/c and heating unit was even louder than the toilet flush. It was a horrible two day stay. Not to mention this was the first hotel i ever stayed at where breakfast was over at 9 am

Well located wrt highway and Mars Hill.

Very nice staff and management. They moved us to a mountain view room when our refrigerator did not work. Also assisted us in the moving to the new room. Thanks

Staff was very polite and helpful. The hotel was under construction, yet you could barely tell due to the cleanliness associated with the construction site. The breakfast was just right. I have zero complaints about my stay, and would definitely return in my next trip to the area. Outstanding work.

Very clean. Staff friendly. Great location for Mars Hill University visit. The only opportunity for improvement is the shower was messed up and very little water pressure unless it was turned to extreme hot. But it wouldn’t stop me from staying there again if in the area.
