The Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage

I stayed here with my husband for a fantastic 4 nights in early December 2025 while he attended the nearby BMW driving experience. Our room was comfortable and well appointed - one night I slept for nearly 11 hours! I don't think I've done that in years, if ever. The room doors do close loudly and I thought this would have been an issue during our stay, though it never was. I initially thought of booking a room with a fire pit, but in the end I'm glad I didn't as those rooms are all open to a main open area and didn't feel as private and cozy as I would have wanted. We love Palm Springs and have previously enjoyed staying near to downtown in a boutique hotel, but we wanted to try something different on this trip. While the Ritz Carlton was a great hotel for us on this stay, it is a bit far away from everything. There's also a $50 per day parking fee, which seemed excessive given the location.

This is the second time my son and I stayed with you all and it was incredible. Every employee we encountered was wonderful. The service at this property is an A+. From the Front Desk, to Housekeeping, Concierge, and the restaurants as well. The location is beautiful, and we took advantage of the local trails that were right there. This is truly a gem of a property.

After many stays, our latest can actually get better. The main attraction are the beautiful holiday decorations around the resort, absolutely beautiful. Best time of year to visit. But the pleasant surprise was the massage therapist, after many visits to the spa, the therapist named Sung was a true gem. Incredibly gifted and professional, possibly the best massage therapist I’ve encountered. A wonderful, relaxing day, thank you Sung. Overall, an incredible stay… again

Everything is completely excellent! Location, view, service, staff, food etc. Pro tip - book a table in Edge steakhouse as soon as you can prior to your check in. It's a great place and if you hope to walk in - no chance for it.

I always say that the true mark of a great experience, is how problems are resolved. This is our second stay at the Ritz Carlton in Rancho Mirage, and the setting and staff are unsurpassed. We had a slight plumbing issue in our room, but it was handled with efficiency, and outstanding service. Shout out in particular to Yuri, the front desk manager, who was incredibly helpful to us. The concierge team was wonderful, and generous with our three and six-year-old granddaughters. We had dinner Saturday night at The Edge, and the fillets were absolute perfection. Andrea, our server couldn’t have been more professional and helpful. Can’t wait to return.

This is our second visit to the Ritz Carlton, Rancho Maroge, and the service and property was just as amazing as the first time! We were celebrating our 23rd wedding anniversary and treated ourselves to one night at the property including club lounge access, which we also did last time. I have to mention Lao and her team at the Lounge. Not only was the food varied and delicious (we are food lovers) the service is unparalleled. So friendly, so welcoming and personalized, they made us feel like friends, truly. On the day that we left, they presented us with a anniversary present, as well as a handmade card, celebrating with us! Just above and beyond. We will be back again and we hope to see Lau and her team there. Our accommodations were also just outstanding. A huge room on the immaculate overall property. It truly is a luxury experience that is worth every penny. Thank you to all!

I'm a Marriott Ambassador and do not typically write a review. My wife and I are staying at another Marriott resort in Palm Desert area and wanted to go to a nice spa for massages. We heard the Ritz Carlton was very nice and we both had later afternoon 80 minute massages. We came a couple hours early and enjoyed the hot tubs, steam room and sauna. We get a lot of massages and my wife said this is the best massage she's ever had and mine was one of the best I've had. We also decided to book dinner at the Edge restaurant after our massages and it was an incredible steak dinner and all the staff were amazing and great food and service! We will be back!
