Everything was great. The staff was extremely nice and welcoming, the rooms were very clean and nice. I would definitely stay here again.

I have stayed at the Residence Inn Coconut Creek in the past and always enjoyed it, which is why my most recent visit was such a disappointment. Unfortunately, the property has declined noticeably and it shows in almost every area. The hotel simply does not feel clean anymore. The breakfast area and bar were dirty and poorly maintained, the elevators had an unpleasant odor, and the customer rooms were not up to the standards I’ve come to expect from Marriott. This is not how this property used to be. Equally concerning was the attitude of the staff. The front desk team seemed bothered any time a customer asked for help, and there was little effort to be welcoming or accommodating. Overall, the staff came across as carefree and nonchalant, which felt very unprofessional and unfortunate. Another issue is the lack of management presence. After 4pm it feels like no one is in charge—almost as if the leadership team keeps banker’s hours while the property (and its customers) are left to fend for themselves. It really shows in the overall service and cleanliness. This is not the Marriott standard I know. I hope management takes a hard look at what’s going on here because the property has great potential, but right now it’s falling far short. The one bright spot was the manager I encountered in the morning, wearing a light gray suit and light blue shirt ( from Texas ). He was extremely helpful and professional, and clearly cared about customer experience. Unfortunately, I did not catch his name, but he stood out in a very positive way compared to the rest of the staff.
