"One night at Owls Inn"

The room was clean, spacious, and well equipped.

The Dstv went out, and although it could've been due to the weather, sometimes resetting the main decoder can assist. If this is not the case, then I apologize, but we couldn't find anyone on the property after a certain time. The light on the left side of the bed also has a wiring issue, and you have to jiggle the cord to get it to stay on.

"The host was not welcoming and did not meet expectations."

Location and cleanliness of the property was really good. We also felt safe throughout our stay.

The host did not meet our initial request which we posted on this forum to which she agreed. When we brought this to her attention she became very defensive and mentioned that she will meet our request at no charge. This ‘charge’ was never mentioned in her response to our initial message. Excuses were made such as no bedding was kept to meet our request and that we gave her a bad feeling when entering the property. I will personally never use this location again as the woman seemed especially nervous around people of colour.
