Island Lodge Phu Quoc

We had such a wonderful stay at Island Lodge. The villa was so serene and pretty. The pool, dining area and rooms were so lovely, comfortable and clean. We received amazing service by the staff at Island Lodge. They were the loveliest and most accomodating individuals who made our stay so enjoyable. Breakfast selection was very yummy and we looked forward to it every morning. Location was great and easy to get around to popular sites. There was a beautiful beach nearby that we cycled to a couple times with the bikes provided by the lodge which was such a nice experience. We would definitely recommend staying here :)

The location was perfect — quiet and peaceful, ideal for a relaxing getaway. The staff were very polite and welcoming, the pool was excellent, and the room was clean and tidy, which made the stay pleasant.

The bungalow had a lack of natural light, which made it feel a bit dim during the day. The soundproofing could be better, as I could hear noise from neighboring rooms, and in the mornings, music from the reception area was also quite noticeable. Additionally, although the room was clean, the furniture was old and didn’t function very well.

Excellent service. The staff are friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was great.

The bed was too hard for us. We were given a mattress topper that helped but still too firm.

Spent a very relaxing time at Island Lodge. Keep a great remembering of all staff in general but I’d like to leave here a special comment concerning Tuyen (the lady who is responsible for the hospitality desk). In one word, Tuyen is the real soul of the house + thanks to her excellent knowledge of the English language, she knows how to make every guest feel extremely comfortable. Yes, I have in mind to be back at the Lodge, and that as soon as possible.

Établissement au calme. Beau jardin arboré autour de la piscine. Personnel très gentil. Petit déjeuner ou dîner un peu répétitif. Autre option prendre un taxi ou louer un scooter pour trouver une zone avec restaurants. Dommage que la plage publique la plus proche soit envahie de sacs plastiques

Really peaceful, pretty location. Nice pool and comfortable beds. The outdoor bathrooms are a nice touch. Ong Lang beach, which is the nearest, is beautiful.

The floors in the room could have been a little bit cleaner and there were a lot of mosquitos in my room when I first arrived (although nets are provided).

In calm part of island, the staff is really nice and friendly. Pool is nice and not crowded.

Very thin walls of lodges, if you’re a light sleeper, you should wear earplugs. Beds are very hard to - not suitable for everyone.

Great experience.! Nice comfortable bungalow at reasonable price. good location 5 min to a beautiful beach..it is run by a rea nice family very friendly.i recommend this hotel .The breakfast is very good too..I'm sure I will stay here again

The location is even nicer in reality than an the pictures since all the palm trees have grown and give the location a fitting tropical feeling. The lodge I had was comfy with an outside shower, excellent air conditioning inside and a very comfortable bed. Since there are not too many lodges the hole hotel had a very private and cozy touch. The stuff was exceptional: always in the background but there for you if needed help.

Almost nothing except: It’s a 20 minutes walk to the beach so that’s a negative but they provide scouters at a very reasonable price.

Great place—peaceful and quiet. The bungalows are spacious and private. Everything is beautiful and well-maintained. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help with any request. Breakfast is homemade and delicious. Lunch and dinner prices are affordable. You can also get a massage in a separate pavilion at reasonable prices. There is a good swimming pool. Housekeeping is done daily. The property is well-kept, and you can see that people put in a lot of effort. The staff here are truly wonderful people.

The only downside is that it’s far from the sea. However, the sea and beaches on Phu Quoc are quite specific—mostly shallow and rocky, with few good spots for swimming. Keep that in mind.
