This is the most beautiful and unique hotel I have ever stayed at and we have traveled US and Europe extensively. Every room is unique and authentic to the Mexican Culture. Gorgeous tiled bathrooms, curved ceilings covered in brick and antique furniture. The setting of this hotel feels like you stepped back in time (with of course modern luxuries). It is walkable to the Malecon with steps but if steps are not your thing - then very easy to catch a taxi. Love this hotel!!

Well situated to be able to walk around the area. Beautiful views. Fantastic food. Wonderful staff. Loved the lower door exit that prevented a block of stairs.

We loved hearing the church bells!! We stayed in the Paraíso room. The view was breathtaking!! The food at the restaurant was delicious. There was no attention to detail that was left out. The staff was welcoming and very professional. We are definitely going to stay there again.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t love about the property and location. I did get a reality check on how out of shape I am with climbing the stairs up to the hotel.😂

The view was spectacular- the room was great. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. We had a large outside space and a bonus balcony accessed by a spiral staircase. The Italian restaurant on site was very popular and reservations are essential. It has the best view in the city and the violin serenade while dining is perfection for a romantic evening.

The safe in the room was not bolted down so we didn't feel safe leaving our valuables inside. The bathroom was a little antiquated and the shower pressure was subpar, if you have mobility issues, stepping into the shower could be challenging. It has a massive marble bathtub with beautiful pillars which looks impressive but not so practical to access. The location of the hotel is accessed via very steep streets and again for people with mobility issues this may be an issue. The workaround is to grab a taxi or an Uber!
