GBOur lodge was spacious and well laid out. The beds were very comfortable and the heating kept the lodge cosy. We had a lovely river view with lots of trees, ducks, geese and even a peacock!
We had to buy extra toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets and bin liners and there was only one tea towel, these are minor things and if we had known we could have brought them with us.
CAWonderful view of the river and we really enjoyed the ducks and Pete the Peacock. We had a great chat with Barry at the beginning and the end of our stay. Very nice home base after a long day of seeing the sights.

AULots of space, Laura Ashley style décor, full kitchen, visiting peacock 🦚. Comfortable beds. Great local pub a short drive away.
We should have rented a second car for this holiday as our one driver had to do a lot of ferrying. The location definitely better with your own transport. Local taxis were reliable and we had a grand time.
