Very friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money. Comfortable room. Good meal in restaurant. Enjoyed ourselves.

Would have liked some curtains or blinds in the room. A bit bright early in the morning. Stairs were very steep and windy.

Comfort and quality of room and shower room. Quiet location (Sunday night).

Would have been good to have a note in the room info' about getting milk for tea/coffee when arriving out of staffed hours late on Sunday. Restaurant & bar wasn't open Sunday evening which would have been nice, but was pre-advised on that. Would stay again.

Staff were great, the bed was really comfortable, the food in pub restaurant was excellent

Breakfast was very disappointing - it was not “continental”. There were some croissants, 3 small yoghurt pots, white bread only and a small selection of cereals. One guest said the cornflakes were stale. Also the rooms are not “accessible” as you have to navigate a narrow, steep staircase with turns in it.

Room very clean and tidy, staff, evening meal , was amazing.......very good atmosphere loved sitting out in the outside area ,

Breakfast was apauling, no way was that a continental breakfast, bread was a box standard loaf....no brown or artisan as would expect, they ran out of yoghurt, the granola was just granola bars broken up by the look of it, no other jam apart from strawberry jam , only croissants was one type which where very dry ,like they been there for a while, had to find someone (the cleaner), for books and plates, no cheese or hams as you would expect on a continental...... Also the pictures of breakfast on your site do not represent what was on offer......

Great little place - does what it says on the tin.
