Bodin's Resort

This brand new cottage is beautiful and impeccable! Plenty of linens and kitchenware. It is quite spacious for 6 people. Our teenage sun slept in the sunroom and enjoyed the night sounds. The private beach is all sand and perfectly picturesque. We brought sand toys, and the kids had so much fun playing down there. They loved the swing set, too. It is just a beautiful place for a family to relax. Being a beach property, I wish there had been a washer and dryer. Or at least a dryer. There is a coat tree that we brought down from the loft and used the hooks for our wet beach towels and suits, but simple hooks in the entry and bench area would be a huge help. The threat of rain kept us from hanging everything over the chairs outside, though a clothesline would probably help, too. However, the place is so nice, that it's worth the inconvenience of wet towels and suits. We will certainly re-book, and this time we'll bring all 10 of us, so we'll rent both sides of the blue/gray cabin and have 2 bathrooms. Washburn and Bayfield are so charming, so we had a very nice little vacation. Thank you!

1st time there. Very nice place and well maintained. Quiet in the mornings and evenings and the view of the Bay was gorgeous. Owner was always available for questions. We had the smallest and probably the oldest unit there and we were always comfortable. Only down part was that the early mornings drinking coffee on the deck enjoying the cool breeze from the Bay always seem to end too soon.
