Oh my gosh!! This place is absolutely perfect!! The owner Claudia is just simply the sweetest person and makes sure everything is perfect for each of her guests. She makes sure you feel right at home from check in to check out. The property is gorgeous and I can’t wait to come again and stay here. We have had such a wonderful visit.

We loved staying at the Trumpeter inn and especially enjoyed to feed the alpacas and the goats. The owner is very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable.

Beautiful, peaceful retreat, on incredible San Juan Island. Didn’t want to leave!!! Hosts were incredibly hospitable, helpful, enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious. Inn is lovely, inside and out. Goats and alpacas were an entertaining bonus!

The location was wonderful, only a mile or two from town, located on a beautiful property with grass, pond, flowers, views, trees, birds, pigmy goats and alpacas. There are many places to sit around the property, a deck off the kitchen, two separate areas in the house with comfy chairs to sit and read or converse with other guests. There are books to read, board games to play. The hosts, Claudia and Tyrone are very friendly and accommodating. They shared information about things to see in Friday Harbor and other locations. Breakfast was great with a variety of things to eat with coffee and juices available every morning. Also a small refrigerator for guests to share. And there was an endless supply of freshly cooked cookies and/or brownies each day for snacking.

There was no down side to our stay at the Trumpeter Inn and we are looking forward to returning next year!

Beautiful location and property. Holly was the perfect hostess. Next we will stay longer.
