Cromwell's Tap House

Nice place, close to the town. I parked at Dana car park for £6 overnight.

A lovely pub with great accommodation, rooms was clean and modern with a great shower. We ate in the restaurant and the food was great and reasonably priced. A great selection of real ales etc. Staff were all polite, friendly and helpful. If you’re staying you get 10% off your bill! Highly recommend this lovely pub.

The accommodation was adequate for our needs. The staff were extremely friendly, polite and helpful. It's a town location so expect to hear traffic noise coming into your room. We ate at the restaurant in the evening and the food was delicious. Would like to see the installation of a mini fridge in the room we stayed in. Plenty of room for one. More than happy with our visit though.

Lovely old building which I prefer to modern buildings. Room was small but comfortable. No parking but not a problem for us. Didn’t eat there but it’s an option. Good choice of beers etc. The pub is nice and historical, clean so quite happy with our stay.

Super find. Great central location for a night out in Shrewsbury. Staff friendly and helpful, room good value.

From the minute we arrived it didn’t look good, the place was locked up and in darkness a food delivery driver couldn’t get it, although check in wasn’t till 2,on a Saturday you would expect it to be open for breakfast , We eventually checked in and came back about 4.30pm the place was like a mad house gangs of drinkers outside the level of our so called king sized room screaming and chanting and balling like a rugby club , when I went downstairs to speak to the manager he said he was too busy serving drinkers and would pop out when he had a minute , the noise carried on til we left at 8 pm the place was bouncing not what we wanted from a quiet weekend sway, The place isn’t managed from a hotel guest perspective it’s was just how much beer they could sell, the stay was absolutely hell and I’m putting this mildly, we stayed here before when it had a proper manager and it was really good that’s why we came back, realistically they should be operating for guests staying in rooms if it’s a noisy lager lout type of place it’s either one or the other, or at least controlled to guests can enjoy the Eid stay, this was a waste of £100 per night which I will demand refunding

A good price for Shrewsbury, fast efficient booking procedure, and a pleasant akd clean ensuite room. Happy tonuse ahain

Just a fantastic stay, thanks so much to the staff for being so welcoming and helpful. Booked in for Sunday lunch, absolutely delish! (Made with much love). The food is always lovely at Cromwell's... The room was lovely, clean and comfortable. Beer was excellent lol
