Bed sheets smelled like urine. Not clean and staff wasn't available.
The quality of hotel is good with clean rooms. If the breakfast is improved it will be great
The guy at the front desk was rude when i went to ask him about where the room started criticizing me very rude
It's close to WIlliamsburg and relatively cheap compare to similar motels. The property is unattractive, breakfast was packaged cereals and packaged donuts, and the room had a funky smell. Nothing exciting about the place, but it was a clean room and decent bed.
The place was great as always.sorry can't find anything wrong with your hotel.
The rooms smell and the man at front desk was not very polite
The hotel looks like junk from the outside. When we walked in to check in, the office smelled like sweat and curry. Once we got to the room, it was ok. It has been remodeled for the most part. Bathroom is gross. I had to clean it before we could use it. On the second day, I went to visit family. My husband and stepsons stayed. Let me preface the rest of this by saying my husband has a traumatic brain injury, so sometimes controlling his temper is hard. The maintenance man yelled at him and then the owner did as well. Needless to say it didn't end well. However I appologized and explained my husband's disability. Our keys kept failing and on the last night the owner I formed me that he was going to call the cops if we had to have our keys rescanned again. He advised that out of 60 rooms, we were the only ones who bothered him. He advised he worked 24 hours a day and that we should leave him alone. When we went for breakfast, the doors were locked both days. I will never darken his door step again. Oh and mind you, we never had housekeeping in and we took out our own trash etc. The hotel is ok, but service is aweful
Lobby smelled bad. There was a group of guys in the parking lot drinking beer. There was hair EVERYWHERE - towels, sheets, wash cloths, pillow cases, on the sink etc
The desk clerk let us check in early thankfully after a 6 hr drive. Room was extremly clean but the smell was horrendous. Had to air it out. Ac helped clear it out. If you have issues with uneven and unlevel steps ask for ground floor. Steps are terrible, very unlevel. Room was so much cleaner than expected. Beds could certainly be improved. Never found ice or vending. Breakfast wasn’t up at 530 when we left so can’t say anything about it. Room door didn’t shut all the way and wallpaper is peeling in corners. It wasn’t bad at all. Pleasantly surprised how quiet it was and how clean.
this was my 3rd stay at this hotel, I kept coming back because it very accessible to the pottery, restaurants, and the interstate. I was very disappointed with my recent experience. The room was clean, but clearly needed some work (phone didn't work, towel rack non-existent, light bulb out in bathroom, antiquated and loud fan in bathroom). Very loud trucks and car alarms going off early in the morning. The biggest complaint this visit, was that I asked for a late check out, because my mother is handicapped. I went to the front office and was told that I could check out at 1:00 pm. We went to breakfast and picked up my sister, went back to the hotel to check out to find that our keys no longer worked. All of our belongings were still in the room. My sister asked a woman next door (maid, owner?) to unlock the door so we could gather our belongings. She was very rude and said late check-out was 12. We told her, that we were told 1:00 and she reluctantly let us in. We felt very rushed to leave and when I went to check out and return room keys, no employees could be found.
