Sheni Hostel

They have bedbugs, they don’t mention it but it is. When I realised this it was late to find another place so I spent night in the lobby and moved away another day

The owner and manager both spoke English which made it much easier for me. A lot of places don't and it can make it difficult. They were very friendly and great to talk to, being a solo traveler they made me feel like family. The hostel was clean with good cooking facilities, value for money. I met a bunch of wonderful travelers there. The owner has another hotel in Ureki, helped with transport and the room was good, clean, big communal kitchen, close to beach at a very good rate. Had a fantastic meal with his family, introducing me to excellent Georgian cuisine. I hope they come visit Tasmania Australia so I can return the hospitality. Thank you for making my vacation to Georgia memorable.

Manager was always soo friendly and kind. The price is good and the hostel is clean and comfortable. Workers and the other people were sooo friendly and good peoples. The bathroom, kitchen and other rooms are clean and comfortable. If i go tbilisi again, my first stop will be sheni hostel. I can recommend the sheni hostel to everyone.

Roma the manager was exceedingly kind and generously accommodative. He checked me in late last night, showed excellent problem-solving initiative in trying to arrange payment by peer-to-peer (P2P) means as I didn't have cash (only card), and ensured I could comfortably sleep for the night and use the facilities. Deprived of sleep for over 24 hours, I had been traveling all day many miles from hostel to hostel trying to find a place that accepted card to no avail and was thus sorely tired and in need of shelter. I offered to pay in groceries or other items of monetary value in exchange, but (a man of principle and morality) he rejected the offer and interested only in ensuring a fellow traveler had a place to rest. I'd highly recommend this place.
