The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a comfortable place to relax at the front. The common areas were cleaned daily so they were very clean. I stayed there during the Pre-carnaval and the location was great for it, I could walk to many events from the hostel. There are some small lockers outside the room.

The room was very small. At the moment I stayed the temperature of the AC could not be changed and the room became very easily either too warm or too cold, but it was supposed to be temporarily.

Unfortunatelly I can’t rate this hostel with zero stars. The stuff was unfriendly, the rooms really dirty (hair and stain on bedsheets and towels). In the living room the owner were watching TV really loud. We booked our stay for two nights, but left after one, because we didn’t wanna spend another night there.

The location was good (close to a shopping centre, atm, pharmacies etc) and felt safe enough (Barranquilla generally didn't feel safe at all) and the staff was friendly and helpful. The hostel is very close to THE Salsa bar 'La Troja'. Definitely worth a visit💃🕺

Friendly staff, small but fully equipped kitchen, 4 bed dorm was spacious enough with a copule of shelves and some big lockers (that you can't lock unfortunately) and one table, so plenty of places to store your things, big bathroom, strong fan in the room, towels and liquid soap provided, nice terrace outside, excellent wifi, safe neighborhood and a very cute young cat 🐈

The room wasn't cleaned well before I arrived (I was the first check in that day and the only guest at the moment), I found garbage in the room, garbage bin in the bathroom was half full, bed wasn't ready (they had some problems with the washing machine), the receptionist couldn't provide me useful information on a few basic questions (luckily in the hostel lives a man who knows the city inside - out), there's no real dining space, lockers that you can lock with your padlock are very small (enough to keep your passport and money but not for your laptop), however you can always ask at the reception and they will keep it for you, the hostel is a bit far from everything so you have to take a bus or taxi to visit few attractions that city offers.

the host was really cool and spoke good English and tried to help as much as possible which means a lot. there was a good social out in the front terrace which we enjoyed a lot more than the overwhelming reggaton in town. don’t worry about aircon because it’s free in the nights.

needs a good sound system so the reggae master can keep the vibe going good.
