"It was fair"

It was near the Grace Clinic

Once the tv was turned on with the remote control, I tried to lower the volume using the remote control and going to the tv to lower the volume…no luck 😔. The only thing I was able to do was change channels.

"Hope Lubbock builds some nicer hotels."

We were excited to find a hotel during George Strait’s tour.

The facilities need some attention. Missing drain plug in bathroom sink, carpet and other materials were dated and worn. The front desk was so helpful with check in and directions.

"Watch your bill for “oopsies,” folks"

A very difficult weekend visiting my mother in the hospital was made much worse by being charged a surge rate (~$500) rather than the medical rate ($70)—and then being charged for the full stay on 4/24, AND for one night of the stay on 4/25 ($1159.20 + $579.60). I was repeatedly assured that the “hold” on that second charge would be dropped right away (within half an hour, the front desk assured me as I dropped off the room keys), but it is still there >24hr later. Not having access to my own money while traveling for an emergency has caused me real hardship. Plus they told me “Have a blessed day!” three times while lying to my face. A terrible reflection on this location and the La Quinta brand.

"Friendly staff, but the rooms were not well kept up."

The staff was friendly and helpful, and the common areas were nice.

Our bathroom looked like it was mid-renovation. The toilet was broken and could not flush. The shower was functional, but the ceiling and fixtures were torn up.
