Breakfast was very lovely and the location was perfect! We arrived very late but Carmelo stayed up and welcomed us.

our host was the best, and took good care of us. Definitely recommend this to anyone who’s visiting catania! He gives very good recommendations and is a man with a big heart! ❤️ the room was very tidy and smart, and everything you would need for a shorter or longer stay. Would definitely visit again!

The location is great- right across the street from the airport bus stop and the major sights to see are a short walk away. The host was welcoming and generous and the room comfortable and quiet.

If you are not used to the layout of older Italian buildings with their cavernous ground floor entryways with a portone, you might be shocked at first with its cave-like qualities, but I kind of like this kind of building.

Papali is very conveniently located, opposite a stop for the airport shuttle. Our small room had everything we needed, and the well-fitting windows and shutters blocked virtually all street noise. Our made a great effort to spoil us, getting our room ready long before the scheduled time at no extra charge, and keeping our luggage after check out until we were ready to fly home.

Wonderful host of the hotel

very central, bus stop to airport in front of the house, very friendly owner, owner helped to carry suitcase up to the first floor, we could check in early and on leaving we could leave our luggage there until we had to go to the airport. when the windows were closed u couldn’t hear the busy road. good breakfast. very clean, good shower.

No WiFi when lying on the bed but in general WiFi was available.

Carmelo was a super attentive and kind host who made sure to ask our preferences for breakfast and got us the freshest bread still warm from the bakery ,croissants and a selection of whatever we asked for. He also gave us excellent recommendations as to eateries in the vicinity.
