Porto Alegria Garden

No info that apartments are on the top flor. In my "bigger" practically no space.

This is an apartment with a beautiful, private city garden just out the door. The garden was just lovely, and one of the bedrooms was quite spacious. The offsite manager was easily reachable by whats app and responded quickly when contacted. She was very helpful with information about Porto, places to eat etc. And, the location was really excellent. Just down the road from all the main areas and very easy to walk.

There really wasn't any place to "sit" in the apartment. Luckily there were lovely spaces in the garden, which was much better than being inside......I wonder though what it would be like if raining. Also the loft bedroom was very low and accessed by a "stepladder" Would be excellent for children, but as an adult I did bang my head more than once. And unfortunately the kitchen lacked some basics, such as a knife to cut bread and a tea towel to do dishes.

The apartment was a comfortable size. It was great to have a fridge and kettle. The shower was a good size..The location was good, near a mall with nice eating places and shopping. We walked to all the major sites. It's in a quiet neighbourhood. Access was good and it was very secure. Paulo was a very good gost. We really enjoyed our stay.

There was nothing to really dislike about the apartment. The only slight grumble was that the wifi dropped out a bit for one of us sometimes when the two of us were using it.

The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable and a continental style breakfast was delivered each morning.

The room looked into an area that was below ground level.

The location was away from tourist area and good value.

It was noisy.

Beautiful place. Quiet, comfortable, excellent location. Also, there's a music school opposite, choir practice was brilliant.

The front door mechanism was a bit sticky, had some trouble with it on the last night.

Paulo (the property manager) was incredibly helpful. He came to greet us and even brought batteries late at night for the AC remote. We loved the little garden our back. It was a perfect place to unwind after a busy day of sight-seeing. It felt peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed the Mama Mia restaurant about ten minutes away.

Very minimally stocked kitchen. Would be difficult to cook if you planned to make meals in the apartment.

the host was very helpful and cordial-he made breakfast himself and it was great(English full breakfast), and he drove us to the airport. there is a nice restaurant 5 minutes walk away.
