"Great hospitality in a lovely setting "

We received a wonderful welcome and check-in was flawless. Dinner and breakfast were lovely. There was a really warm and friendly atmosphere in the castle and the grounds were extremely well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Our room had no mirror where makeup could be done or where you could see to use the blow dryer. The bathroom was to dark to get do makeup. Markree is beautifully situated, service was fabulous and staff were very attentive and anticipated needs.

It was a wonderful stay. The castle has been renovated but still retains the mystery and charm of it's past.
