The host was brilliantly kind and available to us almost always. Left and wanted to come right back!

The breakfast was average. The fridge had old food. No attempts was made to clean.

We were not sure if the food we was getting was fresh Yogurt was left outside overnight Food in the fridge was old. Uncovered. Completely messed. Lots of items on the kitchen counter Clutter. The owner lived in the same house. He was pleasant. I guess I am not used to people being in the same place when we book out

Nothing at all

Pleasant stay with friendly staff I had a pleasant stay at Ekhaya Guest House. The staff were very welcoming, friendly, and hospitable, which made the experience enjoyable. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, room was tidy and clean and the friendliness of the staff stood out. Breakfast is included which was very much appreciated.

There are, however, a few areas that could be improved. The braai area was not well maintained, and the pool was not clean, which was disappointing as I had planned to use both. Parking is limited, with only a single driveway available. Breakfast was a nice touch, but it would be helpful if dietary requirements were confirmed in advance and breakfast times communicated beforehand. Room servicing was also not provided during my stay, as the room was not cleaned on the second day. The guest house has a communal setup, with shared kitchen and lounge spaces, and multiple guests occupying different rooms. In my room, there were still clothes in the cupboard, which gave the impression that the space is still used privately by the owner. With some improvements in maintenance and communication, it could be an even better experience.
