Ramada by Wyndham Kittery

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless and beds were very comfortable. A must stay place next time we are in Kittery.

I hate to do this but it feels like an warning should be provided for this hotel. The pictures are not accurate to the current condition of the hotel's overall state. It is old, dated, and smells terrible. It seems to be derived from the carpet being incredibly old and absorbed decades of odors, plus I believe that there are individuals that reside in the hotel and do their own cooking. The hotel at different locations smelled like mildew, stale cigarette smoke, and body aroma mixed with over cooked food. That being said, our room was clean, it just smelled bad when we entered it. Opening the windows helped but it is in an industrial area so trucks were coming and going early in the AM. The staff was very nice and hopefully they can replace the carpeting and eliminate most of the unpleasant aromas.

Stop people wandering the hallways in the middle of the night! Woke us up twice around 2AM!

Our stay was great.

On the second night we woke up to bed bugs biting my partner. When we went the front desk, the attendant was not very helpful and implied that we brought in the bed bugs. We asked for a refund and he told us that the manager does not work on Sundays and he could not do that. An hour later he called back and offered us 50% off the second night. Also we asked for plastic bags to bag up our stuff and it was like we were asking for too much. Finally, we received the bags. I am very disappointed with the service and the attempt to blame us for them when we have never had them in our lives.

The staff was very friendly. Our bathroom sink was clogged upon arrival and staff responded in a very timely manner and rectified the situation.

The facilities are very outdated and the entire hotel had a musty smell. Several different things around the hotel were "Out of Order" such as the sauna and ice machine. Also, in one of our rooms, the water temperature in the shower was either ice cold or steaming hot, no happy median to be found. The breakfast lacked variety. There were two waffle makers but this was the only hot food option.
