Express INN

The bed and bathroom seemed pretty clean. Very spacious room and shower. I did love the big mirror and the staff was very kind and accommodating. It's just across the street from the beach which was nice.

The room needs a bit of dusting especially the mirror inside the room. The building is dated but pretty decent for what it is. A little overpriced for such an old building. Honestly though I would consider staying again.

Express Inn was located between the two places I needed to be each day which made for a great mid route stop to do whatever it was that I needed to do. The rooms were decent, the cleaning crew was great and gave me a couple extra towels when I asked. Being close to the beach I thought it would be loud with a lot of people partying but it was quiet at night which allowed me to get some great sleep.

The drapes need to be replace as their width is a bit narrow not allowing them to close all the way to center and leaving space for the street light to shine in or people to peep in if they so desired. Luckily I had some large clamps in my truck which I used to draw them together but that created an opening on the ends.

The welcoming, front person excellent.

Can’t complain

Room wasn’t to great, bed was comfortable at least.

Location is terrible. Ac didn’t work that well. The tv also didn’t work very well, they had HBO but the channels wouldn’t come in properly. The whole area reeked of weed smoke. Walls paper thin. My non-smoking room had cigarette burns all over the room, as well as a heavy odor of stale cigarette smoke. Thankfully I was out of the room most of the time, otherwise my asthma may have been affected. Perhaps the non-smoking rooms should have been on the first floor? No coffee maker, and the three locks definitely felt necessary. Also it’s almost damn near impossible to get toiletries, so you’d better bring your own. That includes toilet paper. Damn near fell off the toilet, it was so loose. Shower was disgusting, still had hair in it and cigarette burns all over it. For a nonsmoking room, it sure didn’t look that way. If I could get a refund for this room, I’d try. But I’m sure my bank wouldn’t be able to facilitate. Maybe the owners will do what’s right and refund me?

This is my 2nd stay here and this was more pleasant, the room was very nice with the layout and decor. Linens was fresh and was ready on arrival 10 mins early actually. They put us in a end room for more privacy.

The room was hot and took a few hours to cool off. Window had major cobwebs, dust and dead bugs, No extra towles and wash clothes. The front door had a large gap enough for water and bugs to come underneath.

The front clerk was nice

It was absolutely disgusting. The room was filthy. I was scared to touch or do anything in the room. I didn’t even want to shower or sleep in the room. It was spats of blood on the wall. Just unsanitary to the complete fullest.
