Days Inn by Wyndham Hannibal

Close to the freeway. Quiet. Very clean. Staff answered questions about Hannibal. Very nice stay.

The outdoor pool was shut down. The room was not as clean as it could have been. Staff was polite and friendly.

Hampton Inn quality bedding with a Days Inn rate. Lots of pillows.

If the bathroom had an exhaust fan I could have used it for white noise but overall it was nice and safe for what I paid. Not a lot of options for food delivery even tho it's only 4mi from the city center either but DG and a gas station were close by.

Nothing. The front desk person was extremely rude and confrontational.

The fact that I asked over the phone if they were pet friendly and was told yes. When I got there I was told they didn't allow cats even though she didn't ask what kind of pet I had when I called.

Absolutely horrible. As soon as we walked into the room the smell was just stale cigarettes (non-smoking I don't think so). My daughter went to use the bathroom right away and couldn't close the door, I think the door had like 5 layers of paint on it and it was so sticky/tacky your hand would stick to it when trying to push shut. Door aside the dead bugs on the bathroom floor were disgusting along with the dirt/dust build up along the bathtub I don't think the floors have been cleaned for a while. We also had a handful of flies buzzing around the room. Finally the chair, I'm not sure what they were covering up but the oversized sheet/cover looked even more sketchy. We were maybe at the property for an hour and checked out. The amount of time it took to book a new hotel and start a refund process with Expedia (because we used a 3rd party site the hotel said they can't do anything) which went nowhere and we didn't see a dime back.

They property was in need of updating in general. The room was clean with no unusual smells, bed was very comfortable, the water pressure and temp were great. The room could use some updating, sort of stuck in the 70’s. Direct TV worked great. Breakfast was very limited. For the price I paid I can’t complain really. Great as a one night stay. Would stay here again if going thru Hannibal again. Check in staff was very pleasant.

Non-smoking policy is clearly not enforced! And the two hundred dollar cleaning fee that was presumably assessed to the prior tenant was not effectively used. I tried two different rooms and both were overwhelmingly smelly. We ended up leaving the property, hoping to get a refund from Expedia. The biggest joke was that I had to put a $25 pet fee; my one pet couldn’t possibly make that room smell any worse.
