Motel 6 Classic Galveston, TX Beach-Seawall

Location was near perfect. Entire property appears neglected for years. Construction materials and debris everywhere. Need a sign easier to see with lights etc.

Online prepaid reservation ignored. Charged twice. It needed a lot of work to b worth over $200 night. Desperately needed paint job. Rust evident in several places. Construction debris easily trips guests.

Okay for cheap price. No extra pet fees. Close walk to beach and restaurants

Strong mold smell in room. Room was next to maid storage room so it was very noisy. TV was cracked. Refrigerator leaked. Ice machine did not work.

The small refrigerator in the room was not working.

Room was dirty and outdated. They said there were recent renovations but the rooms were very old and falling apart. Fridge was rusted and ac was falling off the wall.

No breakfast of any kind No kitchen only good thing was the staff. They were kind, but only one person and the wait was a little long for some.

Under construction supplies everywhere almost every room ripped out. Room not ready to rent...no plates on outlets, no bulbs in lights, told us light bulbs still in china??? Not ready for customer at all. The staff were friendly,offered a refund but no other hotels available. Once completed it may be better. Light bulbs can be purchased at Walmart so not sure why we had no lights or wires hanging out of sockets with no plates on them
