Inns of Virginia Arlington

We sought this property because of the rating, budget friendly, and location. We weren’t looking for hotels with extensive amenities because we’re looking to explore DC mos of our days. We’re looking for a clean place to rest. However, the cleanliness of the room was not expected. On the first night our room was not cleaned. We had to ask the staff. At the end of our night, we found a cockroach underneath the table. This was not what a “good” rated hotel should be.

It was okay. I didn’t interact much with the staff that’s why I gave 3 stars in regards to the employees. It is was it is as far as the hotel goes. It’s okay. The floors are DISGUSTING. I felt so gross getting out of the shower and my feet hit the floor. I kept my shoes on as much as I could. The sheets and blanket seemed cleanish. They were stained but washed. It smells like mildew and mold throughout the whole place. Near my bed smelt like stinky feet. It was all around gross honestly. With that being said the parking is free and the room was cheap. If you want a cheap place just to lay your head it’s fine for the price. My suggestion would be bring shower showers, your own towels and maybe some Clorox wipes. The toilet paper was soft tho, I guess you can splurge on to when you never clean the floors tho haha. Also around 11-11:30 whoever was in the room next to us was extremely loud. Sounded like a group of women laughing and talking as if they were sitting right beside us. I didn’t complain tho so I can’t say how the staff handled it. My fiancé and I are heavy sleepers so we slept through it. I only knew because I woke up to use the restroom

Very, very scruffy and tired hotel even by US standards. I will not stay again even if free, and I would not recommend.

This hotel is pretty much what you would expect for $100 a night. It is clean and I found the hotel staff polite and helpful, however, the bed was an absolute disaster and the mattress needed to be changed years ago. It caved into a pit which didn't allow for a reasonable sleep. The walls are very thin, so be prepared and sleep with ear plugs. However, it is hard to beat the convenient location and the low price.

Check in was fine and desk person very sociable, but room was one of the dirtiest we've ever stayed in. Nothing like the pictures. Could use a gut job. Left a night early and paid the $100 to not sleep there.
