Hampton Inn Hilton Head

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. Upon arrival, we were made to wait approximately one hour to receive our room, even though we had a fully paid reservation through Booking.com. The receptionist insisted that the hotel had not received the payment and asked us to contact Booking ourselves to resolve the issue, which should not be the customer’s responsibility. After a long wait, they finally found our reservation in a different folder in their system, confirming that it had been paid all along. We had just come from a long trip and had an important meeting to attend, which we ended up missing due to this situation and the lack of proper management by the hotel staff. The lack of organization and customer service was evident. I expected a much more professional experience. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel based on what we went through.

I’ve stayed here a few times and every time it has been great. It’s your typical Hampton inn, but it’s very clean, quiet, and the rooms are well sized. Cookies in the lobby are a plus, and breakfast is fine for what it is. Great location near the airport and right off the main road on Hilton Head Island.

I was hoping for a late check out, but I was told this could not be accommodated. The walls were VERY thin. I could hear everything from the room next to mine.
