I-80 Inn & Suites

Went to check in was given a room that wasn't cleaned i took pictures then went back to the front desk and explained to the clerk and showed her the picture the

Reserved a room with 2 queen beds non-smoking. Had a 1 “queen.” Room smelled like it was heavily smoked in. Shower head was leaking everywhere. Only had one towel. Both wash cloths were dirty. Wall near door was covered in something looking like spill. Sheet had a gross stain. Light over mirror was hanging down with wire and wire nuts exposed. Shower and floor weren’t swept or mopped. Mattress looked new no stains but there was small little black debris in the crevices. (Not sure what it was but didn’t wake up with bites) dog barked both nights, loud people yelling all night, kids running back and forth most of the night. ( you signed a paper about their “quiet hours”) but they obviously don’t enforce them. No remote to the TV. Stair well smelt like weed every time I went outside. Graffiti in stair well, sexual nature. Office had a paper saying if you don’t like the room you have 15mins to report it. The first thing I found I reported and was told “sorry” “nothing I can do” “manager won’t do anything about it” I MEAN I REALLY didn’t expect much from a place called I-80 inn and for $50, but I was hoping for a little better. I was really tired and able to sleep for a couple of hours and didn’t wake up with bites. So stayed my 2nd night

1st room. Bed not made TV screen shattered. 2 nd room. No towels. No remote. No trash can No tissues. No security lock on door. No soap or shampoo. King bed is a rollaway bed. Better off sleeping in your vehicle.

There were no working outlets, only two working lightbulbs, remote would not work with tv, one bed (reserved a room with two), a smoking room when I was promised nonsmoking. It was so incredibly bad, it was almost funny, like a bad horror movie.

I booked a room with 2 queen beds but they gave me a room with 1 full bed. The room was extremely basic. We only had 1 towel and despite calling the front desk twice they never brought us anymore. There was no phone in the room, no remote for the outdated tv, no mini fridge. The sheets, pillowcases and towels were stained a yellowish color with brown spots and splotches in places. There was blood splatter on the wall behind the bed that i had to clean off to lay down. The air conditioner was set on 60 when we walked in but it remained hot in the room. The bathroom floor was covered in water and the bathroom was infested with little ants and termites (ants with wings) to the point that we couldnt even use the bathroom. When i requested a different room i was told they were booked. We had no money left to go somewhere else so we were forced to stay. This hotel should be shutdown and condemned by the City of Davenport!!!
