Close to the highway

Because the property is downtown you have to park far from the main entrance which makes unloading tricky. The hotel advertised pet friendly but charged be 46$ extra upon arrival and never told me there was an extra fee. There is also an extra fee to park! $20 per night and breakfast isn’t included. The room was very ok, I had a view of the wall and the hallways were very loud. My main complaint about this place is the value. If you want to be downtown, good places to eat nearby without being far from the highway it is good, but not ideal for pets or if you are just passing through town.

Nice clean hotel. I found it to be a good value. The cafe downstairs provides very reasonably priced breakfast options. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We wished we had been able to stay an extra night, as the facilities were great in both the deluxe room and in the hotel, with breakfast available, a pool, small gym and coin operated laundry facilities

We kwamen vroeg aan maar mochten tegen een kleine meerprijs al op onze kamer. De kamer is groot, heeft een fijne airco. De bedden waren lekker. Parkeren kon goed en veilig en zonder meerprijs bij het hotel. Vanuit het hotel loop je zo de stad in (die wat tegenviel) en het Riverside Park, dat wel heel gezellig is.

De buren in de kamer naast ons hadden twee kleine kinderen en die maakten helaas nogal wat herrie. Dat kan het hotel niet helpen, maar dat was wel vervelend. We vreesden een onrustige nacht, maar gelukkig begon het geren en gespring pas weer een kwartier voordat onze wekker afging. Uiteindelijk viel dat dus mee.

The location was good.

The hotel is very out dated. Old and put together. The hallways were old fashioned and seemed spooky. Seemed like in order to modernise the rooms they put stuff in which was not thought out. E.g. a electric portable stove in the drawer, a sink outside the bathroom, disjointed color combinations for electrical appliances. The tables, consoles were dated. The bathroom shower didn't work well. No water pressure in the shower. The bathroom counter top was so low that you had to really bend to wash your hands. No bathroom amenities. Considering that there are many other branded hotels near by, this hotel really needs some modern thought and investment.
