Our stay here was amazing, great customer service, extremely clean place, nice little kitchen, free bike hire and coffees. The roof terrace and view from our bedroom of Mount Fuji was sensational.

Had a great stay! The couple running the guesthouse were lovely and so was their child. The facilities are new, very clean and situated on a main road a short walk from Kawaguchiko Station. There are bicycles available and a nice place to eat a snack and a rooftop terrace which we did not use on account of the snow. The only issue with walking there, was that there was no real sidewalk to speak of and because of the snow on the streets narrowing the lane ways the cars would come fairly close to us while walking there. Had a lovely stay and a great price for such nice, new facilities. If you are looking for a great backpackers stay, this is a good one.
I highly recommend this property. Clean and modern with an exceptionally friendly host and hostess. Stayed in a comfortable twin room with views of Mt Fuji. Used bikes from the guesthouse to cycle around the lake. Steep internal stairs so not suitable for young children. Walked past it the first time as didn't notice the small Fuji Guesthouse sign outside. Located in same street as the post office about 100 metres after a petrol station and car dealership on the right ( coming from the station). I would definitely stay there again.
