This hotel had (I thought) an excellent rating. The “public” spaces nice but this room needed an overhaul, the mattress was comfortable but the linens were thin, the furniture tired and in bad shape. The bathroom was even more tired and dingy. I was very disappointed. The parking lot was not well lit where we were told to park(across from the secondary entrance door!!) and it felt unsafe. Never again.

I checked into this Hampton INN, and had originally booked two rooms and used points for both rooms and both on this reservation are in my name. We drove 8 hours to get there and Emily checked us in. There is something seriously wrong with her, I believe it is drugs… She was so so so rude to me oh my god I have never ever experienced this ever and I just drove all this way from NH! She only asked for my last name and then she said which room is it there are two, I said, they are both in my name and yes one has Ann on it and the other has Lee on it. She didn’t ask me for ID or mention anything about being a diamond member, she said I need a card for you to pay for the rooms, I said, I used points, she said it’s $50 per room, I said is that incidentals? She said yes, I said, then I get that back correct, she said yes, but she didn’t want to answer, she stared through me with such anger and glared at me. She did not want to answer me at all and was on something, it was so so creepy and she was so rude about it like me booking two rooms was a problem…I gave her my card for the incidentals, and she said are you using this card for both rooms? Yes I am they are in my name! Then she said I can only give you water for one room not two because Ann’s name is on the other room, I said my name is on both rooms and they were my points for both rooms, and she wouldn’t give us water for the second room that I used my points for!! I also questioned her about not asking me for ID and she said because I was a diamond member she didn’t need to ID me, WHAT??? I could have stolen the identity of someone; this was so so terrible and definitely not the Hilton way. I did get all of my points back since I was so upset and contacted the diamond desk… for both rooms… I will never ever ever stay here again and plan to alert others. We did go out that evening and upon returning, Emily was no longer there and we spoke to Eric and asked him for waters and he had no problem giving us waters, we told him what had happened with Emily and he was not surprised at all. I work too hard to earn points so I'm thankful I got them back but and I’m so upset about this treatment and there is something wrong with Emily, we were a bit worried when we went out for the evening to be honest. lastly, checkout was at 11am EST, and the head cleaning lady knocked on our door wanting to know when we were leaving… this place really does not have it together at all. I called the front desk to let them know she did that, she wasn’t supposed to do that! She also did not speak english and had no clue what I was saying... never ever again will we stay here.

Proximity to wedding I went to and lao to the highway. Very accessible. Breakfast was pretty decent as well as the all day coffee and tea
