Top notch accommodation

Great location, lovely interior and beautiful outdoor areas.

Whilst we understand that these things are partly to do with the season, we feel the guesthouse could do much more! Electricity went off every night which left us very hot, bugs got into the room far too easily (mosquito shields did not fully cover windows and bugs constantly crawled in - this included spiders and frogs), shared kitchen was unclean and smelly (we did not use it but feel it should be kept clean as staff also use it), the road up to the accommodation is incredibly dark and uneven (we had an ATV but we would 100% not have walked it at night) and contrary to other reviews, we did not find the staff helpful with suggestions/organisation.

Clean, relaxing, great breakfast, amazing staff, felt very safe (dogs + night manager) Well stocked kitchen for cooking Very peaceful, lovely garden Helped us book a cab to and from the port. Arranged a company to have an ATV / motorbike dropped to the door! It is a separate rental company.

The property was beautiful, the garden area was lovely, the kitchen well equipped and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was larger than it seemed in the photos, and the bathroom was spotless. We loved our stay!

The road getting up there could be a little rough, but is not a long section, so this didn't bother me

I had a fantastic stay here. The room was huge, great water pressure and hot water, and beautiful property. Very private and relaxing. I loved having breakfast outside on my patio every morning. (There is a menu with 4 different options and they bring it right out to you). Staff was all really lovely. The 2 resident dogs and resident cat were all really nice animals and well behaved. An excellent base to explore Ometepe from!

As mentioned on their website, it is a rough road up to the property but I knew that going in. I rented an ATV during my stay so it really wasn’t a problem for me.

Such a beautiful place. The view was incredible. We were blessed to have some monkeys playing on the trees nearby at sunset and early morning. The bed was large and comfortable. Such a serene place to stay after a long hike. Very good shower pressure with hot water. The host left take away menu’s making it super easy to get food as it’s slightly out the way from the Main Street. Also had breakfast on our balcony with volcano views. A taste of luxury in ometepe.

Ideally hire a ped if staying here longer than a night. Otherwise no complaints.
